    Benefits of Drinking Water!!!

You won’t believe water could be this beneficial, so easy to get, gotten free from God and yet so underestimated in terms of it's power and efficacy.

Is it not surprising that actually your brain is about 75%-85% water!!!

Your body is about 60% water, the major content of your blood is water and every cell in your body has a large proportion of water.

Now believing you need water to function properly should not be a problem anymore (or you still trouble believing?)
As a matter of fact drinking water is very essential to your health.
Apparently, the well known suggestion of drinking up to 8 glasses of water a day was probably just an advice and not so much based on based on clinical evidence/studies.

The volume of water we need per day seems controversial however studies suggest adults need about 8- 16 cups of water. This number would vary depending on activity level, age, and how much water we consume in other foods.

DEHYDRATION is the term used when you do not have enough water in your system or better still when your water output (like sweating, urination & respiration) is more than your input.

Listed below are some of the benefits of drinking water regularly:

Drinking Water Helps Maintain the Balance of Body Fluids- Your body is composed of about 60% water. The functions of these bodily fluids include digestion, absorption, circulation, formation of saliva, movement of nutrients (both macro and micro) and maintenance of body temperature.

Boosts Mental Energy & Relieves Fatigue – Since your brain is mostly water, drinking it helps you think, focus and concentrate better and be more alert. As an added bonus, your energy levels are also boosted!

A link between students bringing water into an exam room and better grades was found by some studies (source not verified), suggesting water might  promote clearer thinking. While for me it’s difficult to say if drinking water had anything to do with a better score, however I don’t think it’s a bad idea to try (since it wouldn’t cost much)

Promotes Weight Loss – Removes by-products of fat, reduces eating intake (by filling up your stomach if taken before meals), reduces hunger, raises your metabolism and of course you are not adding more calories by taking water! Moreover, it's an open secret that dietary lifestyle has contributed so much to the weight problems we have today.
