HAVE YOU SMILED TODAY?

HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE, CHOOSE WISELY

The time to be happy is now, the place to be happy is here, and the way to be happy is to make others so- Robert G.I

Many times people hang their happiness on several factors such as people around them, condition at work place, government, friends and families, money, material things e.t.c

So when these factors do not give them a positive feedback they become sad and when you ask them what’s going wrong or why they are sad they mention different things or people.

If you are feeling or appearing sad or unhappy, I think it’s because u agreed to be sad at that point in time. Sadness needs your permission before your infected with it, it must have written a letter of consent to you and you gave approval.

Now don’t misunderstand me, I know there are unforeseen circumstances that occur which are not pleasurable to us and I believe almost everyone reading this must have experienced this at one point or the other.

Its okay to temporarily feel bad and express the grief when things go wrong, even the psychiatrist advice this. Covering up and not expressing grief at all when occasion warrants it could lead to future psychiatric complications so I don’t advice that either also.

What I’m saying is that you shouldn’t perpetually remain in that state; it doesn’t help you or the situation. There are simple questions you should ask yourself, is the situation redeemable or not, can anything be done to reverse the situation, is there any iota of hope in the prevailing circumstance?

In some cases the answer to all these could be NO e.g when someone dies you can’t see the person physically again (other thing being equal ). What should you do? Tell yourself the truth and agree with it. If you keep a sad state, you will be losing on two sides, the situation is irredeemable and your health (especially the mental component) too is failing. Why not choose to limit the lose on one side and decide to win on the other side. MOVE AHEAD, REGARDLESS OF WHATEVER; LIFE HAS NOT ENDED. WHEN THERE IS LIFE THERE IS HOPE.  If you are still alive then you can choose wisely and stay happy.

On the other side, if something can be done that’s good news. Sit back, relax, take a deep breath, and re-strategize. Make another plan.

It’s never too late to start again, when there’s life there’s hope. Don’t get caught in the web of depression. Life is too short than for it not to be enjoyed.  Do you know it takes more muscles to frown than to smile, it’s been proved scientifically that those who frown always get to look older than their age compare with those who smile always, they always look younger than their age.

Wouldn’t you rather look younger than your age?

Life actually is beautiful (depending on how you see it ),have you smiled today?

HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE, CHOOSE WISELY, CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY.
